In this Python Tools Engineering role, you will be responsible for design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of products used for internal HPE automation and tools. This is a perfect position for someone who is passionate about core automation and delivering the best customer experience. How you'll make your mark:
Collect requirements, design and develop new tools for the internal engineering customers. Design robust automation framework for running, managing, and reporting unit and functional tests. Maintain existing tools & infrastructure. Analyze, design, and develop new features based on the customers' requirements. Evolve our continuous integration (CI) pipelines function in support of one or more of the products. Learn newer technologies and enhance the existing system to be robust and efficient. Work in an agile methodology to organize and execute and complete projects on tight timelines. Collaborate with Development, Release, Support, and QA Engineers to build efficient infrastructure, tools, and automation frameworks. About You:
This position requires a self-driven individual with technical and communication skills who can collaborate in a distributed team environment. A good knowledge of Python and a front-end framework such as Angular or React. 2
years of experience in tools development in Python, Perl, or C 2
experience using databases such as MySQL. Experience with Elastic Search and NoSQL databases such as CouchDB and MongoDB is a plus. Passionate in the area of infrastructure and tools development. Good software design/development skills, and common design patterns. Good logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Typically 0-2 years experience What we can offer you:
